How Online Notepad Works

Automatic Saving

Your notes are saved directly in your browser, not on our servers. This means:

Menu Buttons

Skins → Change the visual appearance of the notepad. Each skin has its own background style, typography, and colors.

Custom Title → Change the title that appears in the browser tab for the current page.

Undo → Undo the last action performed on the text.

Redo → Redo the previously undone action.

Alignment → Toggle text alignment between left, center, and right.

Search → Open the browser's search box to find text within the note.

Previous Page → Navigate to the previous page (up to 99 pages).

Next Page → Navigate to the next page (up to 99 pages).

Increase Font Size → Increase text size by 2px. Maximum: 48px.

Decrease Font Size → Decrease text size by 2px. Minimum: 8px.

Reset Font Size → Restore default font size (16px).

Copy Text → Copy the current page's text to the clipboard.

Spell Check → Enable or disable the red underline for misspelled words.

Word Counter → Shows the number of words, characters, and lines for the current page in the bottom-right corner.

Fullscreen → Enter or exit fullscreen mode. In this mode, an ✕ button appears to exit.

Backup → Download all pages as a .json file.

Restore Backup → Load a previously saved .json file and restore all pages.

Clear → Delete all text on the current page.
